ASK: A Handbook on Christian Evidences, by Norman Geisler & Ron Brooks (Victor Books, 1990)

Norman Geisler is no stranger when it comes to Christian evidences. As a Christian apologist, he has been at the forefront of defending historic Christianity for most of his adult life! He has produced more books on the subject than any another evangelical writing in the field. Needless to say, one can learn a great deal from the fruit of Dr.Geisler's research!

WHEN SKEPTICS ASK is just another fine sampling of the seeming unlimited minds of Norman Geisler & Ron Brooks. The book devotes thirteen chapters to some of the most difficult issues challenging Christians in a world filled with skeptics of a different worldview. 

The authors cover such topics as the existence of God, the question of evil, miracles, who Jesus Christ is, questions about the Bible, science and evolution, the afterlife, questions about truth, and finally, questions about morals.

The most important feature of this book is it is scholarly, yet, very readable. All to often books dealing with apologetic issues can be so scholarly they have no real practical use. Geisler & Brooks avoid this trap and present mater- ial useful to high school and col-lege students, lay people, and academics.
